Provide Test results, MRI, X-rays, and a
Medical Questionnaire
For many medical procedures, the doctor will need to see your file
reports, MRIs, x-rays, photos, etc. In absolute compliance with HIPAA
regulations (federal patient privacy rules) we will keep your records
anonymous and they will be assigned a case number.
If you do not have any test results to send we will have them done
the first day or so of your arrival. We have no wait lists for most
tests and tests are necessary in determining your treatment plan.
If you have
your MRIs, CT scans or x-rays, We will ask that you send them to be able
to study them before we have you arrive to best give a cost estimate of
procedures, and expected time of recoveries. You will be responsible for
this expense.
We require
you complete our confidential medical questionnaire. The more information
you provided the better we can give an accurate price estimate with better
results.
Once you
have agreed to undergo a procedure and travel, We will require a 50%
deposit once you have arrived and met with your doctors to confirm the
procedure plan. If there are more tests necessary each one will be charged
as you receive them so you are not paying anything you haven’t received.
You will be
given complete receipts for all aspects of your medical journey. Some
insurance plans may reimburse you for some of your expenses.
The Add-On
portion of your estimated quote will be required before we begin. This is
determined on an individual basis.
Departure from your Local Airport, Arrival in Leon being
Greeted by your facilitator.
Once you
arrive in Leon, you will be greeted by an English-speaking person) who
will be your assigned case facilitator/translator and who will accompany
you to your hotel and all your doctor visits. Your case manager will give
you more information about Leon once you arrive. If you are traveling
alone and if you elect to do so, your facilitator will become your
personal companion in the post-op or recovery period for as long as you
need them. This is a costly option and you may prefer to come with a
friend.
Transport to Hotel
From the
airport you will be driven to your hotel in a private car and accompanied
by your facilitator.
Visit with the doc’s
Soon after
your arrival (same day or next day depending on arrival times), you will
our clinic and meet your team of doctors. Any extra testing that is needed
will be done right away.
Surgical Procedure
Your
procedure will be performed by the board-certified surgeon, at our
world-class hospital - Angeles.
Post Treatment Recuperation
When the
doctor makes the appropriate determination, you will be released from the
hospital and driven back to our recovery clinic to begin the recovery
process. If you choose not to have a personal companion for your recovery
period, they will be with you the whole way. In both hospital and recovery
clinic we have accommodations for your family members in your same room.
Once you are
realized from our recovery clinic, you will stay in our hotel for
the necessary time needed to be released to make your way home or stay on
to further your holiday. This depends on the procedure and you.
 Post Treatment Enjoyment and Return
Home
After recovery, and when our team is satisfied with
your progress, you will be given authorization to enjoy some of the
interesting attractions Leon has to offer. There are many things to do
and see for you and your companions.

accommodations, requirements and all prices stated are general so please
